General Museum Support

The Pacific Museum of Earth helps people see the world around them in new ways.

We encourage visitors to look out the window at a mountain range and ask, How did that get there? To pick up a pebble on the beach and wonder what story it holds. To notice the stone in a building, the metal in a bicycle, or the gem in a piece of jewellery and consider the long journey those materials took to become part of our daily lives. Through exhibits, collections, educational programs, and research, we help people make connections between the Earth beneath us, the landscapes around us, and the lives we lead.

For decades, the Pacific Museum of Earth has welcomed visitors by donation, creating opportunities for wonder, learning, and discovery for students, families, researchers, educators, and community members. As a small museum with a broad mission, we rely on flexible support to care for collections, develop exhibits, expand learning opportunities, and respond to new ideas and emerging needs.

Gifts to the General Museum Support Fund provide the flexibility to invest where support is needed most. Whether helping us improve visitor experiences, care for collections, develop programs, support students, or seize new opportunities, your contribution strengthens every aspect of the museum’s work. Your gift helps ensure that the Pacific Museum of Earth remains a vibrant place of curiosity, connection, and discovery for generations to come.
