Some visitors spend an hour with us. Others develop a lifelong passion.
Learning happens when people can touch, explore, question, and discover for themselves. Through facilitated programs, tours, outreach activities, and special events, the Pacific Museum of Earth invites people of all ages to connect with our planet through real specimens, hands-on activities, creative problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
Every year, thousands of children, families, and community members engage with Earth science through interactive experiences at the museum. They touch fossils and minerals, design planets, solve geological mysteries, investigate ocean ecosystems, explore human evolution, and journey through Earth’s past. In the process, participants are encouraged to make observations, test ideas, actively experiment, and learn something new.
Support for the Teaching & Learning Fund helps us develop programs, expand outreach initiatives, create educational resources, and reduce barriers to participation. Your gift helps ensure that meaningful Earth science learning opportunities remain available to students, families, educators, and communities across British Columbia and beyond.
Every gift makes a difference.
