Join us on an extraordinary journey through the Milky Way! Students will have the chance to engage with our unique spherical OmniGlobe projector, touch a real meteorite, design a planet, and more. Our space training will ignite curiosity and foster inquiry skills for an unforgettable space adventure. Accessibility Notes
Most programs involve some time moving around the museum, which features level flooring and no lips or steps. Many activities take place in our programming room, which adheres to UBC guidelines with an approximate entrance (doorway and door together) width of 32 inches. However, the physical flow of each program is readily adaptable to suit the needs of any particular group so that everyone can participate in a way that works for them. Please include a note in your booking request or email us at pmebookings@eoas.ubc.ca to let us know how we can meet the access needs of your group. We understand that some schools and community organisations may be facing socioeconomic barriers to accessing programming at the PME. If the cost of programming is a barrier to you, please reach out to us — we would be happy to work out a reduced rate or payment structure that accommodates your needs. We offer free bookings for Indigenous groups, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit groups, Indigenous community programs and educational initiatives.
